Hanabushi

My favorite is this piece of work. The protagonist in the picture is casually sitting in the washing machine on the balcony and reading a book. Towels and washed socks are hung on the clothesline. Music is playing on the bench. The green leaves passed through the gaps and fell into the house in small pieces. I like the author's portrayal of details, such as the hangers tilted due to the weight of the dolls, such as the dirt next to the flower beds, such as the mottled marks on the walls and wash basins because of their old age. These all reflect a strong and warm sense of everyday life.
